Sales consulting · founder-led businesses

Sales strategy for founders who are still the sales team.

Booked Out builds your sales system — who to sell to, what to say, the process and the outreach — then hands it over, so your business can sell without you in every conversation.

01The problem

Most small businesses don't have a sales problem. They have a sales system problem.

In a founder-led business, it almost always shows up in one of these four ways.

01

You sell to everyone

No defined ideal customer, so every deal is a custom pitch. Nothing repeats, and nothing compounds.

02

The pitch changes every call

The message lives in the founder's head. It can't be tested, improved or handed to anyone else.

03

One channel, run cold

Email only, no follow-up sequence. LinkedIn and the phone get used when someone remembers.

04

The first sales hire fails

Hired on gut feel, with no scorecard, no ramp plan and no system to step into. Six months lost.

What we do

We build the sales engine, then hand you the keys.

Most consultants leave you a strategy document. Booked Out leaves you a working sales motion: a defined buyer, a message tested on real prospects, a process your CRM enforces, and a multichannel sequence someone can run on Monday morning.

The approach comes from building outbound from zero inside startups — no ideal customer profile, no messaging and no pipeline on day one — and leaving behind a motion the rest of the team could run. That's the same work, done for your business.

Who this is for

  • Founder-led startups before the first sales hire
  • Solo owners selling their own services
  • B2B teams of one to five people
  • Deal sizes of roughly AUD 3K–50K
  • Selling B2B — anywhere in the world

No retainer required to start. No hand-off to junior staff.

Add-on

Outreach, run for you

Strategy is worthless unsent. If you'd rather have the sequences run than handed over, we run them — with a three-month minimum, because outbound shorter than that is a coin toss, not a test.

Every month
  • A researched, verified target list built to your ICP
  • Email, LinkedIn and call sequence written and sent
Every week
  • Replies handled and qualified before they reach you
  • Meetings booked into your calendar
  • A short report: sent, replied, booked, changed
At the end
  • Everything stays yours — lists, copy, sequences, CRM setup
  • A documented motion your next hire can run
  • Tested reply and meeting benchmarks
02How it works

Five weeks from audit to running motion

The Go-To-Market Foundation timeline. Shorter engagements are a subset of the same steps.

Week 1

Diagnose

Pipeline data, call recordings, CRM and past deals reviewed. Interviews with you and anyone who sells.

Week 2

Define

Your ICP agreed and written down — tiers, trigger events and disqualifiers. Target list criteria set.

Weeks 3–4

Design

Messaging per segment, a sequence across email, LinkedIn and phone, the process mapped and CRM stages built.

Week 5

Hand over

A live walkthrough, a documented playbook, a 90-day plan — and a hiring kit if a hire is next.

No five-week silence followed by a slide deck. Every week ends with something you can use.

03Deliverables

What you actually end up holding

Documents and assets, not advice you have to remember. All of it stays with your business.

ICP definition

Tiered account criteria, trigger events, buying roles and disqualifiers.

Target list

Built and verified against your ICP, ready to load into your CRM.

Messaging house

Value proposition, per-segment angles, proof points and objection handling.

Multichannel sequence

Email, LinkedIn and phone steps, written and timed across the touch window.

Process + CRM map

Stages with exit criteria, so the pipeline number means something.

Hiring kit

Scorecard, pay benchmark, job ad, interview guide and a 30-60-90 ramp.

04Pricing

Fixed scope, fixed price

Quoted in writing before anything starts. No hourly creep.

All prices in AUD, excluding any applicable taxes. Every project is quoted in writing before anything starts.

What the alternatives cost

Annual cost for the same job: getting qualified conversations into your calendar.

In-house SDRAustralia, fully loaded
~AUD 130K
Outsourced SDR agencytypical
~AUD 120K
Offshore SDRPhilippines, all-inclusive
~AUD 30K
GTM Foundationone-off
AUD 2.7K

Benchmarks: fully loaded in-house SDR in Australia approx. AUD 130K a year; outsourced SDR programs AUD 6K–16K a month (published AU market rates, 2026); offshore SDR in the Philippines AUD 12–17 an hour all-inclusive, roughly AUD 21K–45K a year (Offshore 24/7, 2026).

The maths

You don't need a sales team yet. You need a system.

  • An SDR costs more than the salary

Benefits, payroll taxes, tooling, a manager's time — and three to six months of ramp before anything closes.

  • Agencies charge for a team you don't need

At your deal size, you're paying for headcount — and the person on your account is usually the most junior.

  • Offshore is cheaper — but it still needs a system

An offshore SDR with no ICP, no tested messaging and no process is just a cheaper way to send the wrong messages. The Foundation costs about the same as one month of an offshore hire, and gives any SDR a system to step into.

  • A system is a project, not a headcount

Build it once, correctly, then run it. Booked Out costs less because the scope is focused — not because the alternatives are doing it wrong.

Why Booked Out

Senior-led, fixed-price, and built around your hours.

Booked Out takes on a small number of founder-led businesses at a time, so every engagement gets senior attention from the first call to the handover.

Messaging is grounded in buyer psychology — how people actually decide — rather than your feature list.

Your hours, covered

Based in Malaysia (GMT+8) and working remotely with founders anywhere. Calls are scheduled in your time zone.

No junior hand-offs

The strategist who builds your plan is the one in your meetings — no account managers in between.

Fixed scope, fixed price

Quoted before the work starts. No hourly creep — anything outside scope is priced before it's done.

Everything stays yours

Lists, copy, sequences, documentation and CRM configuration remain your property at the end.

Booked Out for Freelancers & Content Creators

The same system, rebuilt for freelancers, designers, photographers, UGC creators and microinfluencers: fill-in-the-blank scripts, a short course and templates to land clients and brand deals.

05FAQ

Questions, answered

Where should I start?

If you're already selling, start with the Pipeline Pit Stop: one week and AUD 460 to review what you have and get your top fixes. If you want the full picture first, the Sales Strategy Audit takes two weeks and costs AUD 925. Either way, you'll know what's broken before committing to anything larger — and if nothing is, we'll tell you that too.

Why not just hire an offshore SDR?

You can, and plenty of startups do. But an SDR — offshore or local — needs an ideal customer, tested messaging and a process to step into. Without them, you're paying someone to send the wrong messages faster. We build that system for about the cost of one month of an offshore hire, or run the outreach for you. If you still want to hire, Sales Hiring Support sets them up to ramp.

Will you promise a number of meetings?

Not on the first call. Meeting targets are set after two weeks of live data — that's the difference between a tested plan and an agency promising 30 meetings a month.

Why is there a three-month minimum on outreach?

Because nothing outbound produces a readable signal in four weeks. It's a quality argument, not a lock-in.

Will my account be handed to a junior?

No. Engagements are senior-led from the first call to the handover — the strategist who builds your plan is the one in your meetings.

What do I keep at the end?

Everything: lists, copy, sequences, documentation and CRM configuration. It's built for your business and stays with it.

How does payment work?

Projects are 50% to begin and 50% on delivery. Prices are set in AUD and exclude any applicable taxes; your written quote confirms the exact amount before anything starts.
